How it works
- Make a short profile of the films you love. You choose what’s shown. It’s 18+.
- Join a Film Night and open the film when it’s time.
- Start watching with whoever’s there. Press play and it runs in sync for all of you.
- Say hi if you click. Nobody can message you unless you both say yes, and you can block or report anyone.
What you need
Chrome on a laptop or desktop, with the free Herae extension: that’s what keeps the film in sync. Herae doesn’t run on phones yet. The films are old enough to be in the public domain, so there’s no account or subscription to pay for. Herae never hosts or streams any video.
Herae is new, so the first nights may be small. That’s also the best time to come: bring a friend who loves films.
