Q: Does Netflix have a watch party feature?

Not one of its own (as of October 2026). Netflix has no button for watching together from different places, so couples use a countdown on a call or a browser extension that keeps two Netflix players in sync.

Netflix doesn't have a "watch together" button of its own. If you're in different cities or countries, these are the three ways people actually do it, and what each one costs you.

1. A countdown on a call

Both open the same title, get on a call, and press play on three. It's free and works on TVs and phones. The catch: you drift apart over a long film, and every pause or bathroom break needs a new countdown.
