Community Guidelines
Herae is built for closeness — long-distance couples, friends, and family sharing a night in. These guidelines keep it a place where that stays true. They apply to everything you share with other people through Herae: public Moments, captions, reviews, comments, usernames, and profile pictures.
The spirit of Herae
Treat the people you connect with the way you'd want to be treated. Herae is mostly private by design — but where content can reach others (public Moments, comments, public profiles), these rules apply.
What's not allowed
- Harassment & bullying. No targeting, threatening, demeaning, or stalking anyone.
- Hate. No content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or similar protected characteristics.
- Non-consensual & intimate content. Never share sexual or intimate imagery of anyone without their clear consent, and never share content that captures another person in a private setting without permission.
- Child safety. Absolutely no content that sexualizes or endangers minors. We report child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authorities.
- Violence & dangerous behavior. No threats, incitement, or promotion of violence or self-harm.
- Illegal content. No content that is illegal or that infringes others' intellectual property (see the DMCA Policy).
- Impersonation & deception. Don't pretend to be someone you're not or run scams.
- Spam & abuse of the platform. No mass unsolicited requests, automated abuse, or attempts to break the Service.
Consent matters
Herae lets you capture photos and short video clips from a shared session, and by design the recording indicator is visible to everyone in the session. Only capture and share moments that everyone involved is comfortable with. Sharing a Moment publicly or off-platform is your responsibility — make sure the other people in it are okay with it.
Reporting & enforcement
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, email support@herae.app with a link and a short description. Depending on severity, we may remove content, warn, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts, and report unlawful content to authorities. See our Content Removal Policy for how removals work.
Changes
We'll update these guidelines as Herae grows. Continued use of Herae means you accept the current version.
